Today you worked on creating your Vocabulary Digital Cards in Adobe Express. In one well-developed paragraph, reflect on the assignment by explaining which vocabulary word was easiest for you to understand, which word was most challenging, and how creating your own sentence and selecting an image helped strengthen your understanding of the vocabulary. Use specific examples from your work.

For me, the easiest word to understand was culpable. I've already heard the word before, and it has a pretty simple meaning. One word I didn't really like or understand was toady. It was challenging to make a sentence using it. I really liked having to create a sentence because it gave me a better understanding for the word. And the picture helped as well.

Today we made digital vocabulary cards on Adobe Express. 

I liked the aspect of Adobe Express to use for our vocab. And it will all be in 1 place for the future.

Last year in AP world, there was an assignment due at 11:59pm on Friday, and I planned to finish it when I got home from school on Friday. But when I got home, I played basketball for an hour or two, and came inside and fell asleep unintentionally. I woke up from the nap at 11pm. Then I remembered about the assignment. I thought it was over for me. But I had to make the decision to not play video games with ALL my friends, and complete the assignment in record time. I ended up finishing it with 10 mins to spare, then I played the game. Today we finished reading "The life you save may be your own". And watched the short movie as well. ' I think the short story was engaging, and an overall good read. I got better at reading comprehension, and I'm ready for the quiz tomorrow.

Imagine you are learning about Hispanic/Latino heritage for the very first time. What would you be curious to know about the traditions, foods, music, or celebrations?

I would want to know about their whole culture. I would want to try their foods and see their celebrations and how they are different than our own. Today we did some more practice with clusters. We had the topic of "Overrated", and we had to put 5 things we thought were overrated. I got better at learning how to format and get ideas for what to write in my essay.
