For most of you, yesterday you took the SAT. If you did not, you will take it before you leave high school. What is your desired SAT score? Identify your top three colleges and explain why each school appeals to you.

For me, my desired SAT score is anything above a 1200. Of course, anything higher than that is great, but I know how smart I am, and I know my boundaries. My colleges of choice are WCU because of the campus, size, and majors. Another college is UNG. I've always liked that college, and enjoyed the campus. Finally, I would like to go to UGA. Which is unlikely, but It's always worth a try. My mom and brother went there. They have my desired major, and love the college.

Today we read chapter 7 of Into the wild. We also took note of questions we had, what unfamiliar words we see, a prediction, made sketches, etc.

I enjoyed the task we had while reading today. Gave a good bit of work to do while comprehending the book.

Last year in AP world, there was an assignment due at 11:59pm on Friday, and I planned to finish it when I got home from school on Friday. But when I got home, I played basketball for an hour or two, and came inside and fell asleep unintentionally. I woke up from the nap at 11pm. Then I remembered about the assignment. I thought it was over for me. But I had to make the decision to not play video games with ALL my friends, and complete the assignment in record time. I ended up finishing it with 10 mins to spare, then I played the game. Today we finished reading "The life you save may be your own". And watched the short movie as well. ' I think the short story was engaging, and an overall good read. I got better at reading comprehension, and I'm ready for the quiz tomorrow.

Imagine you are learning about Hispanic/Latino heritage for the very first time. What would you be curious to know about the traditions, foods, music, or celebrations?

I would want to know about their whole culture. I would want to try their foods and see their celebrations and how they are different than our own. Today we did some more practice with clusters. We had the topic of "Overrated", and we had to put 5 things we thought were overrated. I got better at learning how to format and get ideas for what to write in my essay.
