In 2–3 well-developed sentences, reflect on how you spent your Holiday Break. Then, identify four personal you would like to achieve this year and briefly explain why each goal is important to you (Copy and paste your completed response from Writable into your blog).

My break was very enjoyable. I spent time down in Mobile, AL, to visit family for a few days. I played a lot of golf with friends, and even got a new putter for Christmas! I played a lot of board games with my family and it got pretty competitive (lol).

1) The first goal that I hope to achieve in 2026 is to finish 11th grade with A's in all of my classes. This goal is important because I am trying to maintain above a 4.0 GPA, which would be very beneficial for me for applying to colleges. To achieve this goal, I plan to stay focused and on top of my classwork, as it counts towards the highest part of my grade. I plan on studying for tests in the future, not just last minute. By doing this, I believe I will walk away with all A's by the end of the school year.

2) My second goal that I hope to achieve in 2026 is to break 80 in golf. This goal is important to me because it is a huge milestone that every golfer dreams of completing one day. I've love seeing growth and improvement in such a hard game. To achieve this goal, I plan to practice more than ever. Which will be a challenge, because I will have to balance that and school, PLUS every other event that may be happening. I plan to achieve this goal before the 2026-2027 school year begins. Hopefully during the summer or before then!

3) My third goal that I hope to achieve in 2026 is to gain at least 30 pounds. This goal is important to me because I have been on the skinny side pretty much all of my life, and easily get pushed around or "made fun of" by friends. It never hurts me, but leaves determination in my head. To achieve this goal, I plan to get a calorie tracker app to track what I eat every day so I'll hit my goal weight. I will also be careful what I eat. I can't just eat all fatty, salty and sugary foods. I will need to balance my nutrition and work out more to improve aesthetic. I want to achieve this goal before the end of the year. It depends on how many calories I eat per day, and if i stick to it.

4) My last goal that I hope to achieve in 2026 is to find out who I am. This goal is important to me because it shapes the rest of my life. Who I hang out with, what my interests are, how I like to do everything, etc. To achieve this goal, I plan to just be myself, and it will guide me to new friends, old friends, thoughts, and what I enjoy doing. Do I like to be by myself? Am I adventurous? Creative? Nice? By being myself, I hope to find out who I really am as a person. I hope to achieve this goal before the 2026-2027 school year begins. That way, I'll have a full year of being myself before college.
