Write about a conversation that changed you.

I had a conversation with my mom one time, and she was telling me to just be myself. At the time, I was entering 7th grade, still figuring myself out. The conversation we had really changed how I view life. I wouldn't care what others thought of me, I would just be myself.

Today we worked with finding evidence for our claims! We were given a worksheet where we had to right out supporting claim or opposing claim based on the prompt.

Today I got better at finding evidence and citing it.

Write about a truth you were afraid to accept.

Both poems by Robert Frost explore the passage of time and life’s changing moments. Write about a time when something in your life changed more quickly than you expected. How does this experience connect to Frost’s idea that “Nothing gold can stay”?
